Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Midmire LLC (“Midmire,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit midmire.com (the “Site”) or contact us. We keep the Site deliberately light: we do not run user accounts, ads, or trackers beyond what is described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, we collect the details you provide — your name, email address, company (optional), the type of help and budget range you select, and your message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include.
Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Site is used (for example, pages visited and general location), with IP addresses anonymized, and Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymized session playbacks and heatmaps showing how pages are scrolled and clicked. Clarity masks text input by default, so anything you type into a form is not captured in a recording. You can opt out at any time with your browser’s cookie controls, a tracking blocker, or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Technical logs. Our hosting and content-delivery provider processes standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the Site and keep it secure. This happens for every website and is not used to build a profile of you.
How we use information
-
To respond to your inquiry and, if relevant, discuss a project.
-
To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site.
-
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries, keeping the Site secure, and understanding how it is used; and, where applicable, compliance with a legal obligation. You can object to analytics at any time using the browser controls described above.
Cookies
We use cookies only for the analytics described above. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time; the Site works without them.
Service providers
We share information only with vendors that help us run the Site, under agreements that limit their use of it:
-
Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.
-
Google Analytics — Site analytics.
-
Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session playback and heatmaps.
-
Resend — delivery of contact-form emails to us.
International transfers
Midmire LLC is a company registered in the United States and is operated remotely. We and our service providers may process personal data in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws than yours. Where required, transfers are made using appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data retention
We keep contact inquiries for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward for our records, then delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings, and Clarity recordings are retained for up to 30 days under Microsoft’s default policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR, Brazil’s LGPD, and US state laws such as the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@midmire.com and we will respond as required by law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party links
The Site may link to other sites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own; we encourage you to review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
